Hi, I am Danielle Hughes.

Incorporating both my interests in technology and art, photography was a field I was instantly attracted to. Choosing a career in photography was the easiest choice I ever made and I’ve never looked back. My photography journey started back in High School while in Yearbook and blossomed in college at Indiana University where I was able to incorporate a more creative outlook to the journalism style I was used to.

I was immediately attracted to photography and capturing the moments that most pass up. After realizing I lacked photos of certain people and certain times in my life, I wanted to make sure that I would help people never feel the same way.

To me a photo session is an experience, not just a posed moment. When you book with me expect to play in the rain, to get a little dirty, to climb in some shrubs, to feel the sun on your skin, and to fall in love with parts of yourself or another that you never realized before.

What can you expect from me? I'm going to be right beside you getting dirty, climbing on whatever I can and guiding you the whole way through with prompts that elicit movement and lots of laughter and love.
